Self acceptance is the foundation of emotional maturity and good mental health. It is the corner stone of happiness and satisfaction with one’s self. It is the realistic recognition and acceptance of one’s own strengths and weaknesses.
The synonyms for the word acceptance include; acknowledgement, admission, approval, compliance, consent, cooperation, recognition, assent, go-ahead, nod, okay, permission, receipt, recognition, yes, accepting, gaining, green light, obtaining, receiving, and taking-on.
