To quit tobacco smoking is recognised as one of the most difficult addictions to quit. There are many stop smoking aids being offered in the market place, however most smokers know from bitter experience that most of them are a waste of time, effort and money. Ultimately they make quitting tobacco smoking an unpleasant struggle, followed by relapse and bitter failure.

Peter Zapfella’s quit smoking Neuro Linguistic Programming and advanced hypnosis therapy has a well deserved reputation as one of the easiest ways to quit an addiction in Darwin and in Perth in just one session.

When Woodside Energy wanted to ban all tobacco smoking at its offshore facilities they called for Peter Zapfella to assist them to successfully achieve their goal.

He worked one-on-one with around 80 workers who had to beating the tobacco smoking addiction in readiness for the planned total smoking ban.

This is the first time in the world that a therapist has conducted a quit smoking program on an offshore oil and gas platform anywhere in the world. They achieved their goal, and the total smoking ban was achieved on time.

Woodside were so happy with the success of their people beating the tobacco smoking addiction and the way Peter had conducted the program, they asked Peter to assist around 50 staff at the Woodside operated Karratha Gas Plant who wanted to quit smoking. He was then asked to return to the Pluto Project gas plant, to take another 50 through stop smoking.

Peter Zapfella has been conducting on site quit smoking and other therapies for Rio Tinto’s mines at Tom Price, Cape Lambert, Port Hedland, and Dampier in the Pilbara, Argyle diamond mine in the Kimberley over the years. He has assisted people at those sites to beat their addictions too. His other therapies include alcohol drinking problems, depression, anxiety, phobias and weight control.
