- plan and pack the day before so there is no last-minute panic.
- never let your vehicle fuel tank fall below 1/4 or 25% full. If the tank falls too low it can pick up rust, dirt, and water in the bottom of the tank and cause mechanical problems, and you might waste valuable time refilling.
- plan for delays. If you expect it will take you 30 minutes to get to your destination – allow an extra 10 minutes just in case. (When I was catching a bus and then a train to the airport I discovered to my cost that a bus just 5 minutes late could cause me to miss my train and as a result my flight. The answer? Catch an earlier bus so any delays would be stress-free)
- be aware of how many minutes it actually takes to complete tasks. If in doubt take the guesswork out of it and time yourself.
- you can use a Time Tracking App to learn how long typical tasks take you to complete.
- list your important time commitments on a wall calendar, diary, or smartphone. Your phone might link by Blue Tooth to your tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
- make sure wall clocks are set to the correct time, or a few minutes early. (My bedroom wall clock always runs a few minutes fast. How many? I dont know. but I always roll out of bed with minutes to spare).

Synonyms of time-line include; agenda, agendum, chart, delineation, form, layout, map, projection, prospectus, representation, sketch, view, road map.
